Shows

Western Avenue Studios Artists, as well as artists from all over the US and Canada, have created an exhibition called18-apr-08-was-056-copy.jpg 'Dirty, Smelly, Noisy' that is installed in the common areas of the studio buildings and on the grounds of the Western Avenue Studios Complex. This exhibition was created in response to an event that not even a Lowellian could make up. See the entire writeup here: http://www.dirtysmellynoisy.com.  You can see the piece that I submitted for this exhibit, entitled Rebirth, on the 3rd floor of the "A-Mill". It is an abstraction of the side of the A-Mill, where my studio is located. It is a 16x20 image mounted on a standout mount.

 

Nature Reveals - Beginning on July 2nd and running to July 27th, with a reception on July 11th, 6 to 9pm, fiber artist Margot Stage and I will be presenting our two person show called Nature Reveals at The Loading Dock Gallery at Western Avenue Studios.   • I am excited to have been accepted into the juried Art in the Courtyard Arts and Fine Crafts, a venue of the 22nd Lowell Folk Festival, in Lowell, Massachusetts.   • [tentative] On Saturday, September 20th, Andovers Artists Guild holds its Art in the Park fair. This is a really nice fair held at Central Park, right in the center of Andover. The rain date is Sunday, the 21st.

Other Installations

If you are downtown in Lowell, stop by the Lowell Telecommunications Corporation, the local cable access company, where you can see their new gallery. They are showing three of my photos until the end of June.
